SouthBridge EMS has been providing Emergency Medical Service for over twenty-five years. SouthBridge is a Pennsylvania State Licensed Advanced Life Support Service. In order to maintain licensure, SouthBridge provides Advanced Life Support or Paramedic services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This assures a rapid response of qualified personnel to the residents of Bridgeville Borough, South Fayette Township and portions of Cecil and Collier Townships during a medical or tramatic emergency. Southbridge and its service areas utilize 911. We encourage the use of 911 when needing the assistance of police, fire, or EMS.
SouthBridge has a staff of 14 full-time employees, six part-time employees and numerous volunteers. SouthBridge has a core staff to guarantee optimal coverage. Extra help is given by volunteers dedicating their time to help those in need. All SouthBridge personnel are driven to give comfort, compassion and equal medical care to anyone who may be sick or injured.
SouthBridge EMS base operation is located on Hickory Grade Road in a building that was specifically designed for efficient operation of an emergency medical service. They use new and advanced technology in medical equipment and ambulances.
