BOWER HILL ROAD TO CLOSE TO TRAFFIC BETWEEN MCLAUGHLIN RUN ROAD AND RAILROAD STREET THE NIGHTS OF JULY 22 AND 23.

To facilitate roadway repairs to several sinking areas that require full-base reconstruction asphalt patching, Bower Hill Road between McLaughlin Run Road and Railroad Street in Bridgeville Borough will be closed to all traffic on Thursday, July 22nd between 9:00PM and 5:00AM and again on Friday, July 23rd between 9:00PM and 5:00AM, weather permitting. The intersection of Union Street / Bluff Street and Liberty Street will remain open to local traffic only.

A detour route will be posted with flagger crews and Bridgeville police officers in place directing all traffic to Baldwin Street, which runs parallel to this project area.

This project is part of the 2021 Bridgeville Roadway Improvements Program being completed by Youngblood Paving, Incorporated. These repairs to Bower Hill Road will be done during the overnight hours to minimize the traffic impact to the community.
