Earth Day 2023 (Saturday, April 22nd) is approaching! We invite you to participate in Bridgeville’s community clean-up. The Borough has ordered trash bags, gloves, and safety vests – these may be picked up at the borough building any time after April 17th. If you are interested in taking a group photo, please meet at the borough building at 9AM on Saturday, April 22nd.
Suggested locations to begin your independent clean-up include:
- Chartiers, Cook School, McLaughlin, & Triangle Parks
- Borough public parking lots (Hickman St, Washington Ave – near Burgh’s and beside Greer Chiropractic)
- Werner Avenue between Chartiers St and James St
- Your own neighborhood streets and yards
If you would like to take photos of your clean-up, email them to: cglowark@bridgevilleboro.com to be shared later with the community. Bridgeville’s clean-up is registered on the earthday.org and keeppabeautiful.org websites.
