Thanks to Sun Smart Pittsburgh and Vujevich Dermatology, there is a dispenser at the front of the concession stand with complimentary sunscreen.

One in five Americans will develop skin cancer during their lifetime. Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer, and its incidence is increasing at an alarming rate, especially in young adults. Sun exposure is the major risk factor for developing skin cancer. Sun protection with sunscreen has been shown to cut the risk of skin cancer in half.

Sun Smart Pittsburgh is a non-profit organization started by two local dermatologists who wanted to make a change. Drs. Christie Regula and Justin Vujevich’s founding mission is to promote sun protection and skin cancer prevention through installation of public sunscreen dispensers in our community.
