Jason Ferri
My family and I have proudly called Bridgeville home for the past 31 years. Theresa and I are blessed to have two beautiful daughters, and we take pride in raising them in this community. We believe that the values they have gained while growing up here, along with positive interactions with the wonderful people in Bridgeville, will greatly benefit them as they navigate through life and eventually raise their own children.
I attended Duquesne University, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in music, and later obtained a master’s degree in education. Currently serving as a department head and a successful advanced placement instructor, I have dedicated over 28 years to teaching high school students. I’ve also enjoyed coaching volleyball during my professional years and have had the privilege of sending numerous athletes to play at the collegiate level, securing 5 section titles, and winning a WPIAL championship. In addition, I have coached with the BAA and the CV school district in a variety of capacities. I am also the co-director of a small business, providing volleyball instruction in the greater Pittsburgh area.
As the demands of my previous responsibilities have lessened, I feel a calling to give back to our community. I am proud to be associated with Special Olympics, serving as the co-director of the Special Olympic – Unified Volleyball League. Additionally, I am an active member of the Bridgeville Public Library Board of Trustees.
I humbly extend my sincere gratitude to the voters of Bridgeville for the faith they have shown in me. I eagerly look forward to the opportunity to serve the residents of Bridgeville and contribute to the betterment of our community.
Shane Franchick
Jason Sarasnick
I’m Jason Sarasnick, a proud lifelong resident of Bridgeville. My roots run deep in this community, where I’ve not only lived but also worked for over 40 years at our family business. In the heart of Bridgeville, my wife, Janice and I have joyfully raised our two kids, Elizabeth and Joshua. It’s a privilege to watch our children grow in the same town that shaped my own experiences. I graduated from Chartiers Valley in 1987 and my children graduated in 2020 and 2022. My great grandfather and uncles began Sarasnick’s Hardware back in 1938. My dad and I continue working at the hardware store and know first-hand what it means to run a small, family-owned business within the community. Currently serving as a Councilman, I am committed to enhancing the quality of life for Bridgeville residents through thoughtful governance and community engagement.
